WHO WE ARE
It will not take you long to realize that we are a distinct community within itself. We embrace diversity and take the education of the children to heart. We will never compromise our focus on the development of the Whole Child. We partner with parents to build strong solid relationships so that our teaching approach is individualized for each child. We believe that a childcare facility should be an extension of a child’s family. We encourage our teachers and parents to work together to provide the love and support needed as each child reaches developmental milestones. This approach will allow children to learn today so they can lead tomorrow.

Our Mission
Our goal is to provide the Highest Quality Care; while in a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment, that promotes and enhances the WHOLE CHILD while reassuring parent’s peace of mind.

Our Vision
Douglas Academy vision is to strive to be the most sought after childcare center in the communities we serve; providing the highest quality care to children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

Philosophy
We believe that each child is unique in his/her own development and has the right to become the very best that he/she can become. We also believe that he/she has the right to grow and learn at their own pace while in a wholesome environment that provides a strong foundation.
Our Goals
The primary goal for Douglas Academy is to provide an environment for young children where they can develop mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally at their own pace.
Every child will experience:
